Virtucruit is partnering with a leading mining company in Saudi Arabia to appoint  Drill Fitters / Mechanic within the Maintenance Department.

This role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and assembly of drilling rigs and associated equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient drilling operations. The successful candidate will diagnose mechanical issues, perform repairs, and support operational readiness of drilling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Perform maintenance, repair, and assembly of drilling rigs and related machinery.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems to identify faults and implement solutions.

• Conduct inspections and routine servicing to ensure optimal equipment performance.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report issues to supervisors.

Operational Support

• Assist drilling teams with equipment setup and operational readiness.

• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment breakdowns.

• Ensure tools, spare parts, and materials are available for timely repairs.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and operational regulations during maintenance activities.

• Promote safe working practices within the maintenance team.

• Ensure compliance with environmental and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Industrial, or related field is preferred.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or drilling equipment repair.

• Experience in mining, drilling, or heavy equipment operations is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain drilling machinery.

• Understanding of safety standards and operational compliance requirements.
