Traffic Manager (Abu Dhabi, Onsite)
Job Description:
The Traffic Manager is responsible for managing the workflow of creative projects, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources, and coordinating timelines across departments. He collaborates closely with creative and account management teams to ensure that all projects meet client expectations and are delivered on time.
Work Responsibilities:
Pitching Phase:
Participate in giving cost estimations to Project Manager based on project scope and resource requirements.
Confirm that designs are technically feasible and align with project specifications.
Advise and confirm on material and specifications for fabricated items.
Conduct site visits to confirm sizes and specifications, access, power requirements and production feasibility.
Planning Phase:
Prepare a detailed production schedule for each allocated project, aligned with the agreed project timeline.
Review supplier quotations, build times, and resource allocation with project managers and suppliers.
Perform technical assessments of required materials, services, and production feasibility, including visit to supplier production facility if required.
Ensure compliance with quality control standards throughout the planning process.
Liaise with project manager and procurement to coordinate resource requirements.
Delivery Phase:
Manage suppliers and monitor suppliers' performance to ensure deliverables align with project needs.
Conduct Toolbox Talks to communicate project-specific QHSE expectations with the team, vendors and suppliers.
Oversee on-site production execution, ensuring alignment with site-specific requirements and project timeline.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and adherence to contractual obligations.
Ensure production finishing is to the highest possible standard.
Monitor and track deliverables, providing proactive solutions for any schedule, technical and resource conflicts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years in a Traffic Manager role or similar within a creative, advertising, or events agency environment.
- Experience in managing creative projects, including digital, print, video, and social media campaigns.
- Background in working with clients across various industries (e.g., Government, retail, FMCG, technology).
- Knowledge of creative workflows in both traditional and digital environments.
- Understanding of event production processes.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Wrike, Microsoft Project), with a deep understanding of creative workflows.
